I love a good lemon pepper wing, and whenever I can enjoy them ALONE without the guilt of frying them, it’s a good day. I consider it self-care. 😉 Buck, prefers them hot, but this one is my favorite. This recipe is too much to eat alone, but if you meal plan or need enough to have leftovers for another meal they’re great. You’ll also get some cool points from your “waistline watching” friends if you make them when they come over on game day.
4lbs. Chicken Wings
Lawry’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning
2Tbsp. Melted Butter (optional)
- Pat wings dry of any moisture from thawing or cleaning them.
- Preheat oven to 400. Toss wings in one tablespoon of vegetable oil and place wings on a wire rack on a sheet pan. Cook for about 40 minutes, until crispy.
- In a large bowl, while the wings are still hot, season them generously with the lemon pepper seasoning and toss them in the bowl to make sure they are evenly coated. Toss in melted butter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on them. Serve with ranch or blue cheese.
